Explore your inner worlds and expand your shamanic journeying abilities in this fun and non-dogmatic circle. Each session will consist of two drum journeys, with time for sharing after each journey.  Perfect for those who want to focus on their own shamanic path, in the company of others of similar mind. No pressure, always illuminating!  Door locks at 6:45pm.

Shake, Rattle and Roll: A Shamanic Percussion Experience.
first and third Sundays (beginning November 2) 6:30-8:30pm
Facilitated by Kim Knebel
Come join in as we explore the use of drum, rattle and voice to enter into altered states of awareness. No prior experience or musical talent required. If you have a drum, rattle, bells or other such instruments, please bring them. There will be a few items available for use for those who may not have one. Opportunity for silent meditation or drum-guided journey will be provided after the percussion session.

“Sitting Silently with Seeds” Meditation Circle
6 Saturdays (Oct 18- November 22)  9-10am.
Everything in our lives was once a seed that chose to sprout. Come sit for an hour of silence. Give yourself an opportunity to contemplate what seeds you have been cultivating in your life.  You don’t have to be a pro at meditation, but rather, we invite you to practice quietness using this simple, yet profound focus.  Facilitator: Donette Tyrrell

“Prayer”
Gathering Wisdom for Prayerful Communication

Not so much a workshop, but a circle.  Since the recent incorporation of “Earth Web Media”, Quynn has been pondering how people think about the word and idea “religion”.  Since “prayer” seems to be a part of the theme, this circle is open to anyone who feels called to shamanize about this idea (prayer), for yourself and the world around us.
At the end of the circle, participants will share the wisdom that came from their journeys.  Quynn is interested in posting some ideas about “prayer” on the www.shamanworld.com site.

Our human past is one of many wars. Each person who has been wronged, as well as those who have wronged others, is affected in ways that want to be healed.  Come focus your healing attention on healing the warforce that has affected you, your DNA, and your culture. 
 
Many Voices, Single Focus

Every person has many voices in their head. The dominant culture says this means one is “crazy”, but the trick  is to learn how to get all the voices/personalities inside working together.  This session will use the shamanic journey to listen to various inner voices to learn who is who and who wants what.  

Mending the Family Web
Sunday November 23 10am-1pm
This time of year brings up different feelings for different people. If you feel there is an family related issue that you might want to tend, mend and heal, this session uses the shamanic journey to receive guidance on just how to do what you need.

Mitochondrian Circles of Power

 We can now scientifically track our mother’s mother’s mother, and they lead us back to our tribes and Earth-based family.  Use the shamanic journey to honor and explore the female line of your ancestry (DNA) that goes back to the beginning of human time.
 
“Inner Strength”- Facing Spiritual Demons and Entities
Sunday, December 7 10am-1pm
Most of us are held back by faces such as fear, doubt and anger. If you think of that which holds you back as “entities” or “demons”, you can ask for help in dealing with them. You are not alone in this “fight”, you have as much help as you can ask for. Come ask for the assistance you need from your inner helpers to do this seemingly daunting task.

Reconnecting the Soul

Utilize techniques for `soul retrieval', the ability to reconnect with parts of our soul that have been altered due to trauma and pain in the past. For those of you with soul retrieval experience, this is an opportunity to hone your abilities.

“Greatest Teacher” Shamanic Practitioner Trainings
The Living World is our Greatest Teacher! Quynn hosts this experience.

Modern shamanizing requires unique remedies for modern issues. Those called to shamanize today must be brave enough to heal their own soul loss caused by living in the dominant culture, and create time/quiet mind to hone their abilities and intuit how to offer your shamanic abilities in the world.

This is a powerful time in our human story, join in the shamanic renaissance!

This series is open to those who have heard the call, and are ready to take the step to be of service.  You do not have to have worked with Quynn in the past to participate, but if you have shamanized with Quynn, and you are interested in diving more deeply into your shamanic practice with Quynn as your guide, feel free to participate. For each participant- This program will form-fit to what you need at this point in your path, even if you have participated in a previous Training with Q.

EACH SESSION HAS 6 SPOTS AVAILABLE

BETWEEN DECEMBER OF 2008 AND APRIL 2009, THERE WILL BE
TWO GROUPS OFFERED
 Each four month program is designed for those serious about training their inner shamanic practitioner to work in these important times. Two different sessions will be offered, each covering different areas of shamanizing. 

SESSION ONE- Meets one Saturday a month for 5 months.
Dates are Saturdays, December 27, Jan. 24, Feb. 28, March 28 10am-4pm
and April 25 2-8pm
 
Session One is designed for those who feel called to the shamanic path, yet have not yet worked with others (also open to anyone who has some experience working with others, yet wants more experience). This series of four meetings will assist each participant in honing their abilities they feel guided to offer with others.  Becoming a Shamanic Practitioner is about Practice, Practice, Practice.  Each meeting will create an opportunity to offer and receive individual and group consultations and healing circles. Quynn will offer guidance from her 10 years of experience working with others in individual sessions, group workshops and intuitive “readings”.
 
Explore:
*How you respond to “reading” people you do not know
*How to read your own reactions to people in front of you
*The art of holding space

You can:
*Magnetize your abilities
*Utilize your various healing gifts
*Magnetize like-minded “clients”
*Reinvent and Co-Create the role of “shamanic practitioner”
*Plant seeds for future spiritual growth
*Receive guidance about how to “put yourself out there”

Understand:
*What your Guides want from you
*How to live in the world with your abilities “open”

You will:
*Participate in an opening and closing circle to set and review intention and progress
*Experience settings to work with others including:
         - Individual sessions with other group members (Jan)
         - Participating in a Healing Arts booth at the 2009 Tucson Peace Fair (Feb)
         - Offering your gifts during a “Healing Artists Showcase” (March)
         - Closing/Review/Sharing Circle, Mini-Session Potluck and Dinner (April)

SESSION TWO- “CIRCLE OF HEALERS”
meets two Friday evenings a month for 2 hours.
Dates are: 8 Sessions:  December 19, January 2, 16, 30, February 13, 27, March 13 and 27 

6:30-8:30pm

“A Circle of Healers” is for those practitioners who are working with clients (meaning: you meet with people other than your family for sessions, readings, consultations, workshops for “free”, “donation” or a “fee”) and are ready for a deepening in your abilities and personal connection to Spirit. Perfect for healing practitioners of all modalities.  Expand your abilities, and take them the next step with others in the same position. This session is also open to those who have participated in a previous Shamanic Practitioner Training with Quynn and are ready to deepen and expand their personal connection to their guides and abilities.

This nighttime series will focus on sharing, self-reflection, ritual and trance in a bi-weekly circle.  Each participant brings their gifts and desire to deepen their personal practice. Consider this circle an opportunity to utilize group energy of like-minded individuals for personal growth and support. The world needs spiritual/energetic and shamanic practitioners who are ready to “go deeper”.

Reiki Level I Workshops

Reiki is the use of Universal Life Energy to create balance and healing in our lives. Reiki was practiced in the Buddhist tradition for thousands of years and was re-learned by Dr. Usui in the 1800's. In the Level I class each student will learn about the history of Reiki, earn the first two attunements (opening the first two chakras), and learn the first sacred symbol associated with Reiki. Reiki is a wonderful tool to add to any spiritual practice as a way of healing yourself as well as assisting those around you who may need support.

The workshops are being facilitated by Shannon Sullivan, LMT and Reiki Master.
There are 4 spots available in each of the workshops for interested participants. Each of the Level I workshop dates is an individual class and only needs to be taken once. I am asking for interested participants to register in advance. These first four workshop dates encompass my period of teacher-in-training to earn my certificate for instruction. While I am in training, no fee is required for the class. A $5 donation is suggested to support our use of the healing cave for the workshop.

"I have been in the process of transformation and connection with my spirit self for the past ten years. The information, whether by book or class, came gradually at first allowing me to integrate what I was learning. As I began to intuitively know what I was feeling was a true connection to my soul and the soul of creation, the information started to come in more rapidly. The past two years have been a whirlwind of coming into all of my strengths working with my tribe - "La Familia de Luz" (the Family of Light). My family of Light is from Spirit, Angels, Faeries, Animal Guides and Transitioned Souls with a high level of development.                        The following is a description of a journey by Patricia
                           in a past journeying circle.

The Journey.
“There was no prelude. I was instantly in the middle of a fire.. I WAS the fire.
It was as if I was transformed into my elemental nature.
I was a beacon fire on a small island in the middle of a huge lake, surrounded by a lush forest. A fire spirit who loves water... Go figure.
As I danced, like fire does, a voice was talking to me about who and what I am.
People have been trying to contain me or put me out all my life. I've always been interested in unusual things and love to explore, in body, mind and spirit.
I was told that this threatens a lot of people. It challenges the status quo and shines light on things that some want kept in the dark. This is considered dangerous by more people than we'd like to think.
This was a revelation. All the name calling, dirty looks and outright abuse I took and still put up with today makes sense... sort of.
Why do people fear change? Change is good and necessary for growth.
The water in the lake began to slowly swirl around my island.
The voice told me that for all the people I repulsed and frightened, there were some that saw the beacon fire. Some, who were already tending their own fires, acknowledged it and exchanged spiritual fuel. Some took sparks and made their own.
As this was being said, small lights were coming from the forest to the water's edge. It was like a swarm of fireflies. They went into the water and started swirling toward my island. As they came to shore, the small fires merged into me and we became a massive need fire. It was as if we were calling to the stars themselves for help. Why have the humans abandoned their intuition, their inner wisdom? The spirits are calling to whoever will listen and asking for spiritual warriors to battle the madness.
Keep the beacon fires burning! Be true to your nature and your inner joy/wisdom will attract others. Too many people are lost within their own skin and the latest "happy" pill won't help.
I am what I am and it's a good thing.
I was told this a long time ago and I forgot.. I think I'll remember this time.”
